What is Risk
Management?

It is the process of organizing, directing and controlling resources and activities of your Business in order to minimize the adverse effects of accidental losses at the least possible cost. 

The three areas that PRISM focuses on are: 

  1. Prevention - Safety Policy evaluation and implementation, third party exposures, etc.
     

  2. Financial – Evaluation and securing an insurance program, deductibles, self-insurance, property valuations, etc.
     

  3. Contracts – evaluation of contracts from a risk management prospective. We are not attorneys. A licensed attorney, before implementation, should review any suggestions to contracts.

Businesses, large and small, regularly face decisions with respect to their insurance and risk management programs. Whether such firms employ a full time risk manager or assign the duties to an officer or partner, the role of an Independent Risk Management Consultant should not be overlooked. 

Selecting an independent consulting firm can be a daunting task since there are many firms and individuals that call themselves consultants.
